KIDS CORNER!

Crafts!

Make those rainy days in the cabin disappear!

Craft materials, games and books are available for use in the main lodge or the kids can take them back to your cottage.

Craft books are available in the lodge to help you come up with creative ideas.

Canoe Tripping!

We are now offering short canoe trips for the kids staying at Alwaki Lodge.

Your kids could spend one or two nights sleeping in a tent and learning about nature, camping, and outdoor fun!

The trips are led by owner Rob Douglas who is an avid canoeist and has a degree in Outdoor Adventure Leadership. Rob loves sharing his adventures in the great outdoors with others and Lake Kipawa couldn't be a better place.
Only available during July and August.

So come out and join him on the experience of a lifetime!

BEACHES!

Lake Kipawa has several small beaches which are great for a day outing with the family. So pack up the boat and head out for a swim and a picnic. You can drop a line into Lake Kipawa on your way and catch some walleye for dinner!

Tours of Lake Kipawa!



Pack a lunch and hop on the pontoon boat for a scenic tour of Lake Kipawa!

Possible locations for your tour are Hunters Point and Canal Bay.

 

Lake Tours Cost
7 people max.

Hunters Point

This is the location of the Eagle Village Native Reservation. Take a tour through the Turtle Dam and make your way to Hunters Point.

You can also find the remains of an old church and trading post.

 

Canal Bay

Pack up the family and head out on an adventure!

Enter this natural canal to view the gorgeous cliffs, go for a swim or pick blueberries on the island. Clement Island near the entrance of Lake Kipawa's Canal Bay has some great beach areas for swimming.

KAYAKING

We have 2 kayaks that our customers can use. They are easy for kids to paddle and big enough for adults. A great, environmentally friendly way to explore Lake Kipawa.

Air Kipawa Float Plane Trips

When booked in advance, your family can take a scenic float plane trip during your stay at Alwaki Lodge.
